Biography
Luis Cláudio Furtado Faria practises in the civil litigation and arbitration team, in contractual, commercial, corporate and civil liability disputes, including matters related to shipping and maritime/port law.
He holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), a specialisation degree (certificate) in law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), a master's degree in civil law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and an LLM in International Commercial and Corporate Law from the Queen Mary College, London University. He worked as a foreign associate at Reed Smith LLP and Herbert Smith LLP, England and he is fluent in Portuguese, English and French.
