Lori is a finance partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office. She concentrates her practice on multilaterals, DFIs and other agencies, particularly with complex co-financings of power and infrastructure projects. She has structured, drafted and negotiated all aspects of the financing for projects across Latin America and Africa.
Lori's experience includes advising CA-CIB, Kfw, Société Générale, Santander, Bancomext and SMBC in connection with a US$200 million bridge loan to the Norte III power project in Mexico, and its subsequent restructuring associated with the bankruptcy of Abengoa; IDB Group as guarantor of locally issued, local currency-denominated bonds issued for the financing of the design, construction, commissioning and operation of a cluster of 12 wind farms with an aggregate generating capacity of up to 207MW, as well as a 20.8-kilometre transmission line and other interconnection facilities to be developed in the region of Santa Vitória do Palmar in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
