Biography

Co-managing partner of Arias El Salvador, Lilian has worked providing legal and business advice to some of the largest national and international companies doing business in the region, assisting them in mergers, acquisitions, privatisations, financing and tax planning transactions, among others. Part of her experience includes corporate structures, regulatory and restructuring issues, as well as accompanying them in their beginning of operations and in their expansion process inside and outside the country.

She is a member of the Banking Law Association; Centre for Legal Studies of El Salvador; Salvadoran Intellectual Property Association; the Young Presidents Organization; the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), Central America Leadership Initiative Fellow and Chairman of LIDERA, a pro-ethics foundation.

She has a law degree from the Universidad Dr José Matías Delgado (1991) and graduate studies in corporate and commercial law from the University of Salamanca, Spain (1997). She attended the Program of Instruction for Lawyers, at Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts (2001).
