Leonidas Prieto joined Prieto in 1996 and has been a partner in the firm since 2008. He works in the tax law department, counselling national and foreign clients on business reorganisation, business structure planning and the resolution of disputes with tax authorities.
He earned his law degree from the Pontificia Catholic University of Chile in 1995. He earned an LLM at the University of Chicago in 2001 and completed a master’s in tax law at the University of Chile (2005–2006).
He worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York (2001).
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
