Biography
Leonardo Peres da Rocha e Silva is a partner at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, having worked at the Brasília office since 1994. His practice focuses on competition law (merger filings, investigations into anticompetitive practices and compliance training) and on litigation of complex cases, especially the ones before Brazilian higher courts. Rocha e Silva was a foreign associate at Denton, Wilde & Sapte (London, 1999) and an intern at the Brazilian Mission before the WTO (2003). He has an LLM in international economic law from the University of Warwick (1999), and a postgraduate degree in economic and corporate law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brasília, 1998). Rocha e Silva is a law graduate of CEUB-DF (1994), and also has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Brasília (1993). He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
