Leonardo is partner and head of Azevedo Sette Advogados’ infrastructure and real estate practices in São Paulo office. He draws upon more than 20 years’ experience advising clients in corporate / M&A, administrative law, real estate, infrastructure, PPP and project finance matters.
LLB from PUC/SP Law School, he was admitted to practise in São Paulo and Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1998. Master’s in business law (LLM, 2004) from the same university.
Leonardo was professor of mergers and acquisitions at FACAMP. Partner is member of the Legal Committee of the ABDIB (Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industries), member of the ABCON (Brazilian Association of Basic Sanitation Private Concessionaries), president and member of the boards of directors in agribusiness associations.
Before joining Azevedo Sette, Leonardo was associate in corporate (1996–2003) in a boutique law firm, and legal assistant at Accenture/Andersen Consulting (1995–1996).
Leonardo is recommended in Latin Lawyer 250 and The Legal 500 in administrative law, project finance and infrastructure, public law and real estate as “corporate, infrastructure and real estate expert”.
