Leonardo is partner in Azevedo Sette Advogados’ litigation and arbitration practice in Belo Horizonte office. He draws upon more than 10 years’ experience representing clients in strategic litigations and arbitrations in civil, competition, environmental, intellectual property, mining, and real estate matters, especially in the automotive, mining and TMT sector.
LLB from Universidade Fumec Law School, he was admitted to practise in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 2007. Leonardo is specialised in civil law at Pontificia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais – PUC/MG (2008). Specialisation in management legal and litigation at IBMEC (2015). Specialisation course in Civil Procedural at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais – UFMG (2016).
Leonardo is a member of the Committee of Social Security Law, of the Committee of the New Civil Procedure Code, the Committee of the Ethics and Disciplinary Court, and the Committee for Legal Aspects of Startups of the Brazilian Bar Association, in the Minas Gerais area.
