Biography
Julio Martínez is a partner within the banking and finance, general corporate, mergers & acquisitions and energy and natural resources practices at Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno. He specialises in international and local financial transactions, including banking, capital market and project finance transactions. He is recognised for his experience in financial regulations and privacy laws. In addition, he has vast experience in advising foreign investors in Argentina, including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law matters. Mr Martínez also has significant experience advising oil and gas, power and mining companies, and has unique credentials advising lenders of mining firms and projects.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner (2001–2007) and an associate (1996–1998/2000-2001) with Estudio Beccar Varela. In addition, Mr Martínez was a New York-based foreign associate with Allen & Overy (1999–2000).
