Julio César Rivera joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2019 as honorary partner. He specialises in insolvency law, international and domestic arbitration, complex commercial litigations, corporate, banking and civil law.
He graduated in law with honours from the Universidad del Salvador in 1970. Four years later he earned his PhD in Jurisprudence at the same Law School.
He has extensive experience as an arbitrator in domestic and international cases. He has been appointed arbitrator in more than 30 cases held in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.
He has had a significant legislative activity. Since 1984, he has been a professor at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and he is also a professor at the Universidad de San Andrés Law School. He is the author of several books and has written more than two hundred articles.
