Julia is a partner in the corporate law, securities regulation and ESG & Impact departments at Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados.
Julia specialises in advisory and administrative litigation involving the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the B3 (São Paulo stock exchange) and securities regulation in general.
Structures innovative business models and operations involving cryptoassets, digital tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFT), carbon credits, among other modalities. Her ESG & impact practice involves matters related to governance and the structuring of blended finance investment vehicles.
Her experience was obtained in both the private and public sectors. She was counsel and chief of staff of CVM’s chairman from 2013 to 2016, a period in which she actively participated in several strategic regulatory discussions.
