Biography
Joyce Honda is a partner in the area of antitrust at Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados.
She has frequently been recognised as one of the main lawyers in Brazil by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Who's Who Legal and Expert Guides.
She represents domestic and foreign companies, investment funds and individual clients in concentration acts, investigations on breaches of the Brazilian competition law, including cartel conduct and execution of leniency agreements with the board of directors of the Brazil's Council for Economic Defence.
She holds a degree in law from Pontifícia Catholic University of São Paulo, she is a specialist in economic law by Fundação Getulio Vargas and she holds a master's degree in law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has acted in the Brazilian Mission with the World Trade Organization, in Geneva, Switzerland, and she is a counsellor at IBRAC and member of CECORE/OAB-SP.
