Biography
José Andrés Pascual has been a partner of Prieto since 2016. He joined the firm in 2005.
He is actively involved in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate matters in general, and also has experience in labour law and judicial matters.
He counsels national and international clients on construction projects, EPC, O&M and alike contracts, in financing transactions and fuel supply and transportation contracts, with special focus on the energy and natural resources.
Since 2017, he has led the compliance practice of Prieto, advising local and foreign clients in this area.
He earned a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a master’s of law degree from the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. He worked as a foreign lawyer in Dechert LLP in New York (2010–2011).
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
