Andes Law School. Mr.Mendoza has 17 years of experience in corporate law and dispute resolution. He specialises in guiding shareholders, directors and officers through the complexities of corporate practice, with a focus on crisis management. As a judge of the specialised court of the Superintendencia de Sociedades, he presided over hundreds of cases involving complex corporate litigation. Subsequently, as head of the Superintendency of Public Utilities of Colombia, he successfully led efforts to avert an energy crisis in the country.
He has participated in the country's major corporate legal reforms in the last decade, including Law 1258/08 on simplified companies and PL 70/15 on directors’ and officers’ liability and represented Colombia before Working Group 1 (corporate law) of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.
His research on corporate and financial matters has been published by Oxford University Press, Wolters Kluwers, North Carolina Academic Press, Fordham University and the Oxford Centre for Corporate Reputation.
