Biography
José Luis is in charge of the administrative and constitutional, infrastructure and banking, financing and capital markets practices in democratisation and structured finance processes. He has amassed over 31 years of professional experience. He is a permanent adviser to the main national and international banks and has counselled the most important companies in the country on issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, structured financing and investment schemes, and local and international placements. José Luis has led the legal teams in 95% of the share democratisation processes that have taken place in Colombia. He has taught subjects such as Introduction to law and specialised seminars on financing projects and international transactions in undergraduate and graduate programmes. José Luis is also the author of several publications in the legal field and has been a speaker at numerous conferences and seminars, as well as merger control regulations. He has taught intellectual property and competition law at Universidad Javeriana in undergraduate and graduate programmes.
