Biography
José Luis has over 10 years’ professional experience. He has been involved in multiple transactions and material issues related to the energy industry, including mergers & acquisitions, financing operations, IPOs and general legal, contractual, environmental and regulatory matters of the oil and gas, mining and energy sectors, including renewable energy projects. In addition to actively participating in the structuring of energy projects from a regulatory perspective, he has relevant experience in the structuring, negotiation, interpretation and management of E&P Contracts. He has been a guest lecturer of the mining, oil and energy law master’s programme offered by Universidad Externado de Colombia conducting, jointly with the University of Dundee, the Social License – Communities module.
