Jose Carrizo heads the litigation and dispute resolution department of the firm leading a team that advises clients extensively in commercial litigation, corporate dispute resolution, investor-state arbitration, and criminal law. Mr Carrizo handles complex matters, especially in civil, criminal, administrative, retail, banking, insurance and reinsurance, and insolvency law.
Over more than 20 years of practice, he acts in both domestic and international arbitration-related proceedings, such as recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards. He has served as an arbitrator in the National Arbitration and Mediation (NAM), based in New York. Mr Carrizo has also acted as an expert witness before national and international arbitral tribunals and courts.
