Jorge Pico is one of the partners within the firm’s labour and social security law practice. He is a specialist in employment, collective bargaining and social security matters, both in domestic and international markets. He regularly advises clients on labour law and social security matters in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior associate and then partner with Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2005–2007), a senior in-house adviser to the Techint Group's labour law department, on labour law and social security matters in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela (1994–2005). He also served as an officer at the National Labour Courts (1991–1993).
He was a member of the Argentine Chamber of Construction, Committee on Legal Affairs (2004–2005). He is a member of the Argentine Association of Labour and Social Security Law and has authored and co-authored several treatises and articles appearing in specialist publications.
