Biography
Jessica Springsteen is a partner in the Americas energy and infrastructure group and advises sponsors, commercial banks, multilateral organisations and export credit agencies in all aspects of the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America.
Jessica’s recent experience includes advising CIFI on the portfolio financing of 24 PMGD solar projects in Chile; Scotiabank on the refinancing of CoutourGlobal Caribbean power plant portfolio, the refinancing of an aggregate US$1.485 billion in existing debt and capital expenditures for four Panamanian subsidiaries of The AES Corporation; a group of commercial banks and institutional investors in a multi-tranche, multi-currency financing provided to a subsidiary of EIG for the development of the US$1.6 billion Cerro Dominador solar project in Chile, and IDB Invest as the lender on a US$128.3 million financing for the purchase and conversion of a liquified natural gas carrier to an FSRU in El Salvador.
Jessica is ranked as a Rising Star in The Legal 500 2022: Latin America: International Firms: Projects and Energy, and is included in The Legal 500 US-Mexico Private Practice Powerlist 2019.
