Isabel Picot is a senior partner at Galdino & Coelho Advogados. She was admitted to practise law by the Brazilian Bar Association in 2007 and has been working with Flavio Galdino for the past 17 years. She has specialised in corporate and civil litigation, judicial recovery and reorganisation proceedings, both in Brazil and abroad. She has also participated in several successful out-of-court restructuring operations as well as court-supervised reorganisation proceedings.
Isabel holds a master of laws degree in international dispute resolution from Queen Mary University of London, as well as a fellowship from the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL).
Isabel is also a director at the Rio de Janeiro chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Brazil and a member of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). She is also visiting professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and the author of various articles.
