Ignacio M Bérèterbide leads the intellectual property practice. He has extensive experience in advisory, litigation and transactional work related to IP matters. He is particularly knowledgeable in licensing and in a wide range of complex IP contractual matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr Bérèterbide was a senior associate at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2003–2007), an associate at Allende & Brea, in charge of the intellectual property practice (2000–2003), and associate at Estudio Liprotti, an IP litigation boutique.
He was an acting professor of international private law at Universidad Católica Argentina, School of Law, and guest lecturer at different IP conferences such as the Industrial Property Annual Meetings (AAAPI), a master’s in intellectual property (Universidad Austral) and a master’s in business law (Universidad Católica Argentina).
He is a member of the Argentine Association of Patent & Trademark Agents (AAAPI), and Secretary of the Licensing Executives Society International (Argentine Chapter).
