Biography
Horacio Ruiz Moreno leads the firm’s public law and business regulation practice. He has extensive experience in administrative law, public services regulation, oil and gas, arbitration and mediation, corporate and construction law. He regularly advises local and foreign companies operating in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at Rosso Alba, Francia & Ruiz Moreno; a partner at Hope, Duggan & Silva; an in-house lawyer at the Techint Organization (1990–1992); a partner at Fornieles & Del Carril (1986–1990); a New York-based associate with Fox, Golynn & Melamed (1982–1983); and an associate with Basílico, Fernández Madero & Duggan (1980–1985). Additionally, Mr Ruiz Moreno was a deputy professor of administrative law at the University of Buenos Aires School of Law and is a regular speaker at conferences regarding regulatory and corporate law.
