Biography
Hernán Pérez Loose has acted both as counsel and expert witness on Ecuadorian law in international disputes, on behalf of companies such as Gallo Winery, Occidental Petroleum, Perenco, Conoco, Murphy and Hutchinson. Mr Pérez Loose is currently representing AMDOCS before Ecuadorian courts, and advises Sumifru, (Sumitomo Conglomerate), Grupo Vilaseca, Nestlé Ecuador, Roche, Visa International, Reybanpac, the Ecuadorean Chamber of Mining and several other multinationals. He has also represented victims of human rights before international courts.
Licensed to practise as foreign legal consultant in the State of New York. Member of the American Society of International Law and the International Bar Association. Legal adviser to the President of Ecuador (1982–1984). Professor of constitutional and international law at various universities in Ecuador.
