Guillermo Burman became a partner of the firm in 2009. He specialises in corporate and finance law.
He gives legal advice to local and foreign companies in different areas of business and corporate law and specialises in the design, planning, and structuring of financial transactions, including M&As, project financing and asset securitisation.
Before joining Marval O’Farrell Mairal, he worked at two leading law firms, and held a position as legal manager at Recovery SA (1999–2003).
He is a professor of corporations, at Universidad de San Andrés, Buenos Aires. He used to be a professor within his areas of expertise at Universidad de Palermo, Buenos Aires.
He graduated as a lawyer, with honours, from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1994, and obtained a law master’s at Columbia University, New York, in 1999.
He is a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar.
