Biography
Gonçalo’s activities are focused on mergers and acquisitions mostly on infrastructure, energy and utilities. Gonçalo’s clients include market-leading companies, private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds and investment banks in cross-border acquisitions. Prior to joining Lefosse, he worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett's London and New York offices. He is qualified to practise law in Brazil and Portugal.
Academically, he graduated in law from the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa and obtained his LLM at Duke University School of Law. He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
