Gian heads the firm’s estate and private clients group. He joined the firm in 1994 and became a partner in 2008. He is an ARIFA Compliance Committee member and the sponsor partner of the ARIFA Pro Bono and CSR Committee. He focuses his practice on private client work, including, estate planning, organisation and management of family offices, international tax planning and corporate work.
From 1994 to 2000, Gian was the resident lawyer of our London office and an active member of the ship finance and registration department of the firm from 2000 to 2006. Later, and until 2013, he headed ARIFA Corporate Services and its network of offices abroad.
He is the President of the Panamanian Association of International Lawyers and a member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Gian has an LLB from Santa Maria La Antigua University and an LLM from London University.
