Gerardo Lemus, with over 25 years of experience, is a partner in Garrigues’ corporate law and M&A practice in Mexico. Hailing from the firm Kuri Breña, Sánchez Ugarte y Aznar, SC, he is an expert in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, international finance, real estate law and telecommunications law. He is also well versed in economic competition matters.
Gerardo has a wealth of experience in large acquisitions, of both shares and assets, that involve local and foreign companies, including private equity funds. He also stands out for his participation in financing and debt restructuring deals. In recent years, he has focused on the sale and purchase, financing, marketing and operation of telecommunications towers in Mexico. In addition, he has experience in the construction and financing of infrastructure projects.
