Francisco José Pinheiro Guimarães is the head of the São Paulo office and has been historically recognised as one of the leading lawyers in Brazil, not only in Corporate and M&A transactions, but also in the banking and finance and capital markets practices. His strong academic and professional credentials, knowledge of the Brazilian market, relationships with the most important players in the financial and capital markets sectors, hands-on approach and fine negotiation skills places him on the top of the list of the most prominent lawyers of his generation. Francisco has an LLM from Columbia Law School and is also admitted to practise in New York.
