Biography
Education: University of Chile School of Law, Santiago (LLB, 1981). New York University School of Law (LLM comparative jurisprudence, 1984). He participated in specialised courses on foreign investment at the International Law Institute of Georgetown University and on negotiation at the Law School of Harvard University. Admitted to the Bar 1983, Chile. Member: Chilean Bar Association, International Bar Association and American Bar Association. He is also a member of the legal committee of Amcham Chile. Languages: Spanish, English and French. Practice areas: banking law, corporate finance, securities law, and mergers and acquisitions. He is in charge of the financial, banking and capital markets department, and is also responsible for the technology, privacy and media areas at the firm. He also participates in the firm’s arbitration and mediation area. He participated in the foreign lawyer programme of Cleary Gottlieb in New York.
