Francisco is partner and co-head of the firm's energy and infrastructure groups. He is based in our Mexico City office, and his practice focuses on energy matters, with particular emphasis on power (renewable and conventional) as well as natural gas activities.
Francisco advises clients in the development, construction, financing (through project finance, project bonds and other structures), operation and maintenance of small, medium and large-scale energy projects, sector M&A transactions and joint ventures, as well as energy regulation and litigation.
He is particularly known for his participation in sophisticated transactions and his experience in the negotiation of financing agreements and project contracts, including power purchase and hedge agreements, natural gas transportation agreements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts and operation and maintenance arrangements.
Francisco represents the full spectrum of industry participants, including sponsors, developers, project companies, lenders, insurers, contractors and other investors.
Francisco is member of the Galicia’s knowledge management committee.
