Biography
Francisco is co-head of our environment practice group and specialises in mining and environmental law matters. He counsels on matters of environmental and natural resources protection, mining concessions, administrative and judicial procedures related to said matters.
He has extensive experience permitting, licenses and authorisations for the use and/or harnessing of natural resources. Also in analysis and structuring of operations related to mining concessions, such as transfer, assignment, option and joint venture contracts. He has counselled the World Bank on a project to improve mining regulations in the Dominican Republic, as well as in other specific matters related to the development of the mining industry in general.
Education: University of Lima (1997); LLM from University of Dundee (2003). Memberships: Lima Bar Association, Vice President of the National Institute of Mining, Petroleum and Energy Law. Languages: Spanish and English.
