Education: Pontificia Catholic University of Chile, School of Law, Santiago (LLB, 1983); diploma in international commercial arbitration from the University of Chile and Santiago Chamber of Commerce (2007). Lecturer in procedural law at University of los Andes. Admitted to the Bar in 1985, Chile. Member: Advisory member of the Chilean Bar Association and member of the International Bar Association. Languages: Spanish and English. Practice areas: litigation under private and public laws, arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, and insolvency. He heads the litigation department and has been involved in complex litigation involving a wide range of matters, such as construction, insurance, stockholders' agreements, compensation of damages, torts, mining, environmental, power and antitrust. He also has extensive experience in negotiation.
