Biography
Florencia, lawyer and notary public, has more than 15 years of experience in the banking and corporate area. She specialises in financial transactions, both local and international, debt restructuring, sovereign debt transactions, securities offerings, and provides advice on regulatory aspects to various companies in the financial sector, in particular in the fintech area. Her area of practice also includes mergers and acquisitions, having, through the years, advised the major international and national companies in relevant projects in Uruguay.
She has also focused on providing advice on compliance issues, including areas such as data protection as well as anti-money laundering. She has been recognised by prestigious international publications such as Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 for her outstanding performance in the area of financial and banking law. She has also been recognised by Chambers and Partners as Gender Diversity Lawyer of the Yea” for her involvement in gender diversity matters. She was recognised as 2022 Woman Leader by IFLR.
