Biography
Flavia is an expert in structuring social businesses, human rights, corporate restructurings, and preparing a wide range of agreements, as well as tax, corporate, and regulatory matters. She pioneered pro bono work at Mattos Filho and is actively engaged in the growth and development of the pro bono culture in the region. Flavia is an Officer and Co-Vice Chair of the IBA Pro Bono Committee.
Flavia serves voluntarily as president of the board of the Pro Bono Institute and as vice-president of the board of the AACD. She is also a member of the board of trustees of the Julita Foundation and of WWF Brazil's board of directors. She is a volunteer member of the Fiscal Council of Grupo de Institutos Fundações e Empresas, the fiscal council of Associação Santa Inclusão and the fiscal council of Instituto Ame Sua Mente. Flavia is a founder and member of the advisory board of the Pacto pela Igualdade Racial.
