Fernando Zorzo is a partner at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, having joined the firm in 1998. His practice focuses on capital markets and securities laws, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2000), a master’s degree in financial markets law from Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (Insper) (2005), and an LLM from Northwestern University (2007). He was a foreign associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett (2007–2008). Zorzo has led prominent equity issuance deals and M&A transactions involving listed companies in the recent years as well as assisted clients with complex corporate reorganisations and corporate disputes. Since July 2017, Zorzo has also acted as member of the Supervisory Council of Capital Market Researchers of APIMEC, and is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
