Biography
Partner at the firm, specialising in project finance and mergers & acquisitions. Graduated as attorney-at-law from the Catholic University of Uruguay, he obtained an LLM from Harvard Law School in 2009 and a business law masters’ degree from the University of Montevideo in 2007.
In the past six years, he has participated in 18 project financings and refinancings in the renewables sector, as well as in acquisitions of commissioned projects. He also participated in the financing of six PPP projects which included the first-ever (Unidad Punta de Rieles prison facility) and the largest-ever (Ferrocarril Central project) PPP projects in Uruguay, as well as four PPP highway projects. His experience also includes project financings in the port sector and in the natural resources sector.
