Biography
Fermín Caride is a partner in the financial services and capital markets department.
His practice focuses on corporate financing, investment projects and capital markets transactions, specialising in securities and banking regulations. He regularly handles summary financial and securities proceedings before the Argentine Central Bank, the National Securities Commission and other share markets. He also regularly participates in mergers and acquisitions operations.
Between 2007 and 2008, he worked as a foreign associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. In 2008, he also worked as in-house counsel at Merrill Lynch, advising the principal credit group in credit and investment operations in Latin America, working for the teams in New York, San Pablo, Mexico City and Buenos Aires.
As a specialist in financial and capital markets law, he has been recognised by publications such as Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, International Financial Law Review and Latin Lawyer.
