Federico Santacruz specialises in energy, project finance, aircraft financing (private and commercial) and M&A. He represents sponsors, lenders, offtakers, funds and other investors in numerous renewable power projects, including hydroelectric, wind and solar plants as well as in non-renewable projects, including IPPs with the Mexican CFE. He also represents contractors, financing and leasing entities in connection with services and equipment contracts (jack-ups, vessels, platforms and helicopters) servicing Pemex. His advice has involved a wide array of structures, considering the different stage of development of the projects, availability of funds and client’s needs, including traditional bank lending, project financing, leasing, quasi-equity structures, M&A and debt capital markets financing.
Federico also has vast experience representing lessors and lenders of commercial and non-commercial aircraft, including helicopters, engines and other aircraft equipment.
