Biography
Fabricio Longhin is a partner in the Americas Energy and Infrastructure group and co-head of the Latin America group. He advises sponsors, multilateral organisations, commercial banks and institutional investors in the development of energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America. Fabricio is recognised as a Leading Lawyer by Chambers Latin America for project finance and as a Leading Individual by The Legal 500 Latin America for projects and energy: international firms.
Fabricio's recent experience includes advising Concesionaria Vial Unión del Sur and Sacyr on a US$906 million 4G toll road financing in Colombia; a group of lenders on the financing of the first line of the Bogota Metro; a group of lenders on the multi-currency financing for the Mar 1 toll road project in Colombia, IDB Invest in the hybrid financing for the construction of the first toll road to be awarded under the PPP scheme in Paraguay; IDB Invest on the US$88 million financing of a transmission line in Uruguay; and IDB Invest on the financing to Neoen for a power storage project in El Salvador.
