Biography
Fábio Yanitchkis Couto is a senior partner of Pinheiro Guimarães who is recognized as one of the leading lawyers in banking and finance, corporate finance and M&A in Brazil. Additionally, Fabio's continued practice, especially in structured finance transactions and acquisition of non-performing loans, resulted in him being involved in some of the most significant debt restructuring transactions in Brazil. Fabio is known for his ability to deal with complex collateral and funding structures and his creativity to find solutions around obstacles presented by clients. Fabio has an LLM from The University of Chicago Law School and is also admitted to practise in New York.
