Biography
Elizabeth’s professional practice focuses on tax law. As part of her practice, she constantly provides tax advice to clients in corporate income tax and international tax treaties, assisting multinational companies to provide them with tailor-made solutions to optimise the taxes around their day-to-day businesses and to successfully respond to liabilities arising from differences in tax law interpretation with the Mexican authorities.
Elizabeth's principal client focus is on the oil and gas, construction, technology, media and telecommunications, and manufacturing industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth was a senior associate in an international law firm. Previously, she worked for the Central International Tax Audit of Large Taxpayers for the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and represented Mexico in the analysis and discussions of BEPS Action Plan before the OCDE Conference in Paris.
Elizabeth graduated from the Universidad Panamericana - bachelor in law, and has a master’s in business administration from the IPADE Business School. She is qualified to practise in Mexico.
