Biography
Eliane Cristina Carvalho is a specialist in prevention and resolution of civil disputes, devoting the largest part of her time to commercial arbitrations, national and internationally. She has extensive experience in crisis management, having worked in critical and great proportion events, demonstrating skills to manage complex situations, providing legal assistance to the client on the relationship with the public authorities for the development of creative solutions and alternatives for the settlement of conflicts, in order to mitigate the impacts of critical disputes on the clients’ business.
Received her LLB and postgraduate degree in contracts from Pontifícia Catholic University of São Paulo and a postgraduate degree in civil responsibility from Sapienza Università di Roma. Also received a postgraduate degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
Member of the International Bar Association, São Paulo Lawyers’ Association and ICC Brazilian Arbitration Committee. Member of the arbitrators list of CCBC’s Arbitration and Mediation Center. Member of the arbitrators list of CAESP (Arbitration Council of São Paulo). Member of the arbitrators list of Câmara de Conciliação, Mediação e Arbitragem Ciesp/Fiesp.
