Biography
Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. Educated at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) (JD, 1998). LLM degree from the University of London (2001) and a master's in finance degree from the Graduate School of Business Administration and Leadership (EGADE) (2002). Worked as a foreign associate in the London office of Herbert Smith LLP (2004). He specialises in mergers and acquisitions representing buyers, sellers, boards of directors and financial advisors in connection with complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, private equity deals, spin-offs, joint ventures, strategic alliances, minority investments and asset sales. Among others, Mr González regularly advises large multinational and global private equity investors and sponsors on acquisitions and investments in Mexico across multiple industries.
