Biography
Diego Harman is a partner at the firm’s Lima office, where he specialises in project finance, public-private partnerships (PPP), infrastructure projects, capital markets, bank finance and mergers & acquisitions.
Before joining Garrigues, he was a senior associate in the corporate area at Rubio Leguía Normand (Lima, 2007–2012), a member of the LatAm project finance practice at DLA Piper (US) LLP (New York, 2013–2015) and a senior member of the LatAm project finance practice at Clifford Chance US LLP (New York, 2015–2017).
He has extensive experience in structuring financing for energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America, with an emphasis on project bonds, hybrid financing, structured financing and securitisations, in addition to EPC, O&M and PPP contracts.
He provides ongoing advice to investors and sponsors, investment and commercial banks, as well as multilateral and government agencies.
