Biography
Cristian Mitrani is co-head of the general corporate practice and head of the firm’s compliance and crisis management and of the privacy and data protection practices. He has a well-recognised experience in international business law, with particular emphasis on M&A, joint ventures, various types of business transactions, multinational corporate governance, international arbitration and competition law. He acted as lead counsel in record-setting privatisations, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances in various countries. He is a renowned expert in white-collar crime, corporate investigations, direction of material litigation and crisis management.
He was a visiting partner at Bonelli Erede Pappalardo, Milan (2004–2005) and a senior lawyer in the legal department of the Techint Group (1984–2000). He served as legal clerk and legal secretary of the Presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (1980–1984) and of the National Court of Appeals in Federal Administrative Disputes (1978–1980).
