Carlos Obregón specialises in M&A, capital markets and banking and finance. He advises underwriters and issuers in respect of domestic and international debt, equity and quasi-equity offerings, including corporate bond offerings, sovereign offerings, capital development certificates (CKDs), real estate investment certificates (FIBRAs) and structured asset-backed transactions, both public and private.
As to his M&A practice he has advised purchasers, sellers and financial advisers in acquisitions of public companies involving complex tender offers and corporate restructurings within the financial and industrial sector as well as private equity funds, multilaterals and sellers of private entities and assets in the pharmaceutical, media, financial, housing, food services and other sectors. He has represented domestic and international lenders in structuring and restructuring credit facilities for Mexican public and private sector entities.
