Carlos heads the energy, infrastructure and project finance areas of the firm. He has provided advice in some of the most important infrastructure projects in Mexico, including oil and gas, energy plants (conventional and renewable), as well as the developments of water treatment plants and highways, among others, representing commercial banks, multilateral agencies (IFC, IADB, NadBank), export agencies, developers and state-owned companies. Carlos is vice president of the Mexican Academy of Energy Law.
Prior to joining Galicia Abogados in 1994 he worked as associate attorney at Santamarina y Steta, SC and Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton as foreign associate.
Carlos studied in the La Salle University and holds a master's of law from the Southern Methodist University, School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
