Carlos Carpio leads our public law practice group. He specialises in public and property law, and public procurement.
He focuses on state contracts and national and foreign arbitrations. He provides advisory on public procurement processes for supply, services rendering and sanction procedures. He counsels companies and real estate promoters on the acquisition of lands, multi-family complexes development, shopping mall construction, urban planning, buildings regularisation, land zoning, urban habilitation and municipal legislation.
He is a member of the investment committee of real estate funds, and arbitrator in ICSID arbitrations. He was a manager in the agency that preceded the current Public Procurement Authority (OSCE) and a member of the team that prepared the current public procurement law.
