Camilo Zarama has degrees in law, and public management and administrative institutions from the Universidad de los Andes, and over 13 years’ experience in tax law. He holds a master’s degree in taxation, an executive master’s degree in international taxation and an executive master’s degree in business law from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues (in collaboration with Harvard Law School).
He has worked on the tax law team at the Garrigues Madrid office, where he was a member of the International Service Line and former part of the teams advising the firm’s main energy and telecommunications clients, among others. He has acted as tax adviser to various companies in mergers and acquisitions and in the field of tax litigation.
He is admitted to practise both in Colombia and in Spain. He has taught as a professor and participated in conferences in different forums and universities.
