Biography
Caio Ferreira Silva has engaged in the structured finance practice since 2001. Caio has extensive experience in structuring a wide array of domestic and cross-border transactions involving investment funds, including the formation of funds and vehicles, corporate and project finance, M&A, P/E and VC investments via funds. He serves as counsel on corporate and regulatory matters to a whole gamut of investors in Brazil and abroad. Caio is regarded as a trusted adviser to clients in complex and innovative fund transactions across a range of asset classes and industries, including financial services, technology/innovation, infrastructure, real estate, private clients and distressed assets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of São Paulo/USP, a specialisation in corporate and tax law from USP, a master's degree in international law from USP and an LLM from Harvard Law School. He worked as an international associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
