Biography
Educated at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, School of Law (1995); master’s degree in business law at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (2004). Previous work experience: director of the Office of Inventions and New Technology of the National Institute for the Defence of Competition and Intellectual Property (Indecopi) (2008–2013); senior associate, Muñiz, Ramírez, Pérez-Taiman & Olaya Abogados (2006–2008); deputy head of the Office of Inventions and New Technology of Indecopi (2005–2006); Office of Distinctive Signs of Indecopi (1996–2000). Academic activity: professor of Inventions and New Technologies at the diploma programme in market control law organised by the National Academy of Magistrates (2013). Fluent in Spanish and English. Practice areas: intellectual property.
